The Competition will take place on 09/01/18 from 7:00-9:00pm. All participants will compete for the following categories:
Solo performer category to compete for King/Queen of Raqs Sharqi: All contestants will receive certificates. All participants in this category must be at least 18 years-old.

All winners will receive a certificate, signed by all judges. Winners will be announced at the end of the competition.
ELIGIBILITY: All festival participants who have registered for the VIP package can compete in any of the categories. Participants are allowed to perform any Middle Eastern style with or without a prop, and their chosen music must not exceed 4 minutes. Our sound engineer will cut out any music that passes this limit. Once you register for the competition, you must email your an MP3 of your music at totymov@gmail.com.
JUDGES: A panel of judges will evaluate each participant in the competition based on choreography, musicality, interpretation, costume, make-up, stage presence, technique, and style. All contestants must be respectful to all judges.

POLICY AND MISCONDUCT:
- If contestants misconduct during the competition, he or she will be disqualified immediately.
- All contestants must wear a proper dance costume/attire. NO nudity is allowed.
- All contestants must refrain from discussing the competition results with the judges as all decisions are final.
- All contestants will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
- The festival organizers reserve the right to disqualify any contestant whose behavior is intrusive or disruptive to other contestants, the judges or the audience.
- All contestants agree to abide by all rules and policies, and accept the judges' decision as final.
